The smartphone is also known as Redmi Note 9 4G in China, while the rest of the world knows it as Redmi 9T. It was launched earlier this year with Android-10 based MIUI 12 skin. Now, Xiaomi has released Android 11 as the first major OS upgrade for the Redmi 9T. The complete changelog is currently unavailable, but the device should get a bunch of new features which include – Chat bubbles, permission auto reset, one time permission, improved security and privacy. Sooner or later, the smartphone will also receive MIUI 12.5, which brings some major improvements to the device including reduced CPU usage and less power consumption.
