You also need to enable the USB Debugging on your device. You will need to go to settings, navigate to the ‘About Phone’ section. Tap the MIUI version to enter the developer options on your device. Exit to the settings, navigate to the additional settings and then scroll until you come to the developer options. Now, you will come across a checkbox for enabling the USB Debugging which you need to enable. Now you have enabled the USB Debugging mode.
