The April 2021 security patch fixes 17 High levels and 69 Medium levels of CVE’s (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) for increased system protection. The new update for Huawei P40 Lite comes with software version EMUI 10.1.0.323 and the package size weighs 190MB in size. As this is a minor security patch update, don’t expect to see some new features, performance improvements, or changes to the user interface. If you own a Huawei P40 Lite then you might have already received the update. If you haven’t, then manually update your phone using any of the methods mentioned below.
Steps to install the update
Via Settings App
Open Settings app Go to System & updates -> Software update Then, click on Check for updates Download and install the update.
Via Support App
Open Support app Go to the Services tab Click Update Then, click on Check for updates Download and install the update.
