The latest OTA update for Realme Narzo 50A comes with the firmware version RMX3430_11_A.09. The update incorporates the January 2022 security patch, which improves system security and privacy by fixing a bunch of vulnerabilities. Also, it fixes some previously known issues and improves system stability. Realme Narzo 50i, on the other hand, has also started receiving the January 2022 security patch via the latest update. The latest build is tagged as RMX3231_11_A.65, currently rolling out in India. The changelog is pretty much similar to that of the Narzo 50A. However, it also adds an OTG switch which is turned off by default. It can be found in Settings -> System.
Realme is sending the new OTA update in a phased manner. Therefore, it could take a couple of days to reach all the users. Meanwhile, you can manually check for new updates via Settings » Software Updates. Narzo 50A is also on the list of eligible Realme devices for the Android 12 upgrade. As per the company’s proposed timeline, the early access beta program will start in March.
