Vivo Z5 Specifications and Features

The Z5 from Vivo features a 6.38-inches Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution quality. Under the hood, there is the octa-core Snapdragon 712 SoC, coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. It runs on Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. The handset comes with 64GB/128GB of internal storage options. It sports a triple rear camera setup of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture lens. While the secondary camera has an 8MP sensor with a wide-angle (f/2.2) and a 2MP third sensor (f/2.4). It has an LED flash, AI Portrait mode, HDR, etc. The front features a 32MP selfie sensor with an f/2.0 lens. In terms of the connectivity, the phone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB, OTG, Dual Nano-SIM, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor with an accelerometer, ambient light, gyro, and magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Vivo has provided a 4,500 mAh battery on the Z5 which supports 22.5W fast charging. It measures 159.53×75.23×8.13mm and weighs around 187 grams.

Price and Availability

The handset is priced at CNY 1,598 (Rs.16,000 approx) for the 6GB RAM+64GB model. While the 6GB RAM+128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,898 (Rs.19,000 approx). The 6GB RAM+256GB model at CNY 1,998 (Rs.20,000 approx). While the 8GB RAM+128GB model is priced at CNY 2,298 (Rs.23,000 approx). The device will go on sale from August 6, 2019, in China via online stores. There is no confirmation for the availability in other countries as of now.
